Strangest Destination
The most inventive destination...The strangest destination so far has to be under the sea just off St Lucia. Joe’s great uncle Mick, who dived with the banner said, “We dived the Lesleen M wreck. Visibility was not great at about 15m. Water temperature 27C. There was little current which meant exploring the wreck was made easier and it was possible to penetrate the hold and swim down the main companionway. The 165 foot freighter was sunk as an artificial reef in 1986 and is now well colonised with sponges & corals. It lies in 67 feet of water at Anse Couchon a small bay half way down the west side of St Lucia”.
